Water Therapy

Water is an essential, I think we've all got that down pat but what are we really drinking? Is bottled water any better than tap? Maybe in rare cases, but not generally. Filtering (or boiling) seems to be the key to getting clean, healthy water instead of paying about $2.00 a bottle thinking that we've made the best choice possible.

My mom has been trying to get me in the habit of starting each day off with water in hand. It is her regimen and she only saw it fitting to pass it down. Though at times I forget, I've been trying to stick too it over Christmas break and instill in it my daily routine. I'm getting better and feeling even better. 8:30am classes don't feel as disgusting as they used too. It's like a little natural energy boost, a mini-detox every morning. Starting your day with clean water, about 1.5 liters, is said to  be the ideal way to begin your day and get your shit started, literally. It also helps combat diseases and even shed a few pounds. Pretty simple right? Now invest in a Brita (or filter) get to chugging and start Wednesday off right!
