So Long, Farewell

Last night at home went for sushi, finally, chilled out and packed. It was a good ending to almost 2 months at home. Getting into school mode isn't going to be easy but it's about that time. Last spring semester, ever! Uh oh that means real life is around the corner....

Sea, Sun, Sand

I've had a few solid beach days the past week and this day started off the sun days in Harbour Island. I mean what more is there to say about a beach day that you don't already know? Sea, sun, sand and pictures, pretty standard day on the rock. I need to get brown asap as San Fran is on Thursday! Perfect end to the day, Bahamian food an banana daiquiris. Yummer.

Frolic Me Blue

There's days where outside is your best bet. Finally it felt like it was Nassau at Christmas, well actually it felt more like summer. The second I saw the sun peaking through my windows, it was go time and I prayed for no wind. Maxi dresses are such a staple for island life because:
a) they can go over a swimsuit in .2 seconds
b) they are insanely comfortable and
c) they blow perfectly in the sea breeze while one frolics.
Clearly, c) was crucial yesterday. My Canada trip was cancelled so it looked like I had to take sand instead of snow, not a bad trade huh? Anyway, huge fail as I was aiming for this to be a 30 days of shoes post, but somehow something crucial is missing from these photos... can you see it now? Good.
I owe y'all. Tomorrow I'm off to Harbour Island, Eleuthera for the night with some friends, and my boat leaves at 8amEST (why am I awake?) I'll have wayyyy too many photo's when I get back, get ready!

Patron Straight Up

Another photo overload but too much is better than too little. Attended a 27th birthday party at Harry's Haven which may be one of the prettiest little treasures in the most random place. The atmosphere was quaint and interesting. Overall the party was pretty fun, though we spent a lot of the time taking photo's. Also tried patron coffee..... it was tasty but hella strong. Definitely gives a burst of energy and needs to be taken in smaller doses. Oh and I brought out the fur in Nassau. Fur and the Bahamas, insanity right? But hey it was a somewhat chilly night and I was having faux-fur withdrawals! 2011 has be excellent so far. I'm excited.
