Listen

There have been so many times over the past days I've wondered if people listen when they talk and if they really have any clue as to what they are talking about. Ok, honestly it can be very entertaining to see a person try to convince you they are brilliant but most times it is highly annoying. It's fine not to be an expert at everything, choose your strong suit then you can talk my ear off but really if you have no idea what you are talking about, it doesn't impress me at all if you pretend like you do. Most times I just have to laugh but when it happens on a constant basis with the same person the respect level drops a bit. No bueno. 

Note: silence can be golden. 

At times it is perfectly acceptable to open your ears and close your mouth because really and truly, most times we just want someone to listen.
